Although it was probably obvious from the fact that my hosting company did not pull the plug on my website, I did want to confirm that I am indeed not dead. I have been avoiding changing the theme of my blog because I want to write a simple blog engine using FubuMVC, but the ugliness of the puzzle theme got to me before my coding skillz caught up.
Since my last post, I have attended alt.net Seattle, Iowa code camp, and Chicago code camp. I got to hang out with a bunch of great people and I learned a bunch at all the events. I can’t stress enough how important it is for developers to get out there and get exposed to different view points. My next “appearance” will be at MonoSpace conf in October. I’m extremely excited about it, and if you’re headed there, feel free to leave a comment and we can meet up and grab a beer.
As for coding, I have a handful of projects on the backburner. I am hoping that they will produce a steady stream of interesting blog posts, if not some interesting results. I don’t want to jinx anything by being specific, but I will say that I’m keeping my fingers crossed. ;)
